Patronage
Supporting the work
The Maurists lived on endowments and on the help of benefactors. A house of study still does.
What a gift pays for
- Masters and pupils: the studium courses, and bursaries for participants without means.
- Researchers: residencies, digitisation of the charter collection, publications.
- Workshops: settling craftsmen in, documenting their skills.
- Stones: the restoration of the Sainte-Lucie chapel.
Giving from outside France
The Conservatoire is an approved beneficiary of the Giving Europe network, which allows a cross-border gift within the tax rules of the donor’s country of residence. Online giving is open today to tax residents of Slovakia and Switzerland.
Giving from France, joining, taking part
For a gift, a membership, a placement, a Service Civique mission or voluntary work on a worksite, write to us: contact@patrimoinedesabbayes.org.
“Omnia vasa monasterii cunctamque substantiam ac si altaris vasa sacrata conspiciat.”
“Let him look upon all the vessels and goods of the monastery as if they were the consecrated chalices of the altar.”

Gifts are applied to the declared object. On dissolution, the association’s net assets pass to associations pursuing similar aims (statutes, article 11).
